A New Beginning for Ayuele Secondary School:

Hope, Opportunity, and a Brighter Future
By Dr. Nana Aishat Akaeze, PhD, DBA
Founder, Your Education, Your Voice Initiative (YEYV)

Today marks a powerful new chapter for Ayuele Secondary School. With the official launch of the Your Education, Your Voice Initiative, we have taken a meaningful step toward giving our students, especially our girls, the tools and support they need to rise, thrive, and dream boldly.

This initiative was created to remind every child in Ayuele that their future matters.

Through our Three-Tier Support System and the Dr. Nana Award of Excellence, we are committed to ensuring that no student is left behind, and every hardworking girl is celebrated and empowered.

Gratitude to Our Partners

This milestone would not have been possible without the dedication and partnership of many:

  • Mallam Sanni Shuaibu Baba, whose leadership and commitment strengthened every part of this effort.
  • Principal Buhari Hafeez Muhammed, for his support, vision, and openness to collaboration.
  • The teachers of Ayuele continue to guide and inspire the next generation.
  • Community leaders and parents, whose presence and encouragement remind us that education is a shared responsibility.
  • Mr. Kadiri J. E. of ABS News, for capturing this moment and amplifying our message.

Thank you for standing with us.
Your support is the foundation upon which this vision grows.

A Message of Hope for the Students:

To the girls and boys of Ayuele:
Your education is your power.
Your voice is your strength.
Your future is full of possibilities.
We believe in you.
We are here for you;
and we will continue to walk beside you — not just today, but every day as you move toward the future you deserve.

Couple-Day Celebration Worldwide September 15th of each year)

Created by Dr. Nana Akaeze on June 16th, 2024. Mark your Calendar for September 15th, of EACH Year!

On September 15th of each year, couples around the world will come together to celebrate their love and commitment to each other.

This epic celebration, known as “Couple’s Day,” will be a two-day event filled with love, laughter, and romance.

The first day of the celebration will be dedicated to honoring the bond between husband and wife. Couples will exchange heartfelt messages, go on romantic dates, and reminisce about their favorite memories together.

They will also have the opportunity to renew their vows and reaffirm their commitment to each other.

The second day of the celebration will focus on strengthening the bond between couples.

There will be workshops and seminars on communication, intimacy, and trust, as well as fun activities like couple’s yoga and cooking classes.

Couples will also have the chance to connect with other couples and share their experiences and advice on building a strong and healthy relationship.

Throughout the two-day celebration, couples will be encouraged to express their love and appreciation for each other through small gestures and acts of kindness.

From handwritten love notes to surprise gifts, the possibilities are endless. The goal of Couple’s Day is to remind couples of the importance of nurturing their relationship and to celebrate the love that brought them together in the first place.

So mark your calendars for September 15th and get ready to celebrate love, partnership, and companionship with your special someone.

Couple’s Day is a celebration, and it’s the perfect opportunity to show your husband or wife how much they mean to you.

STRATEGIES FOR EMPOWERING GIRLS

Your Education Your Voice

Introduction

Poverty is a global issue that affects millions of people worldwide. While donations can provide immediate relief to those in need, they do not address the root cause of poverty. Conversely, micro-loans can help people break the poverty cycle by allowing them to become self-sufficient. This article will discuss how micro-loans can help people break the poverty cycle, while donations do not address the root cause of poverty.

About Us

What we have in common is a commitment to reducing global poverty and empowering ordinary people to become self-engaged and self-sufficient in helping themselves and others. We believe the most effective solutions to alleviate and empower individuals start from the grassroots. That is why we have built a locally led presence in Nigeria and will continue to invest in building relationships with people worldwide.

We are interested in working with partners who are interested in partnering with us to empower more people.

Your Education Your Voice was established in 2016 as a non-profit organization to provide financial and social empowerment services to members of low-income households and to encourage girls’ education.
